As we navigate through life, there's one truth that we all come to realize
- some things are beyond our control.
There are people in our lives who may not share the same beliefs or values as us, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot change them.
This can be a frustrating realization, but
it's also an opportunity for growth.
In the past week, I've been learning about ways to approach conversations with others that are more open and authentic. These techniques allow me to better understand where someone is coming from without trying to force my own beliefs onto them. This has led me to a new commitment: committing to imperfect nonlinear growth.
What does this mean? It means acknowledging that personal growth is not always linear or smooth, but rather a series of ups and downs. It also means being committed to growth, even if it's imperfect or messy at times.
